Hip-Hop Classic #34: DJ Skitz - Fingerprints of the Gods (Feat. Roots Manuva, Life, Si-Phillie & Skeleton) (Chosen by Ayah Marar)

All words by Ayah Marar: I have been a massive fan of Hip-Hop for more than 15 years now, and I was going through all the huge American classics and thinking how hard it was going to be to settle on one, so I decided to look closer to home. This is one of the first tracks that got me into UK Hip-Hop when I moved to the UK, and it still makes me go all funny inside when I hear it...

Sidenote: In 1998 this was the only British track to reach Hip-Hop Connection's top ten of the year and is clear evidence of Skitz’s commitment to working with flourishing UK talent. Underground classic.
