Hip-Hop Classic #41: Cam'Ron - 357 (Chosen by CJ Beatz)

'357' is the second single from Cam'Ron's debut album 'Confessions Of Fire', which was released in 1998 on Untertainment/Epic Records. The track is produced by Darrell "Digga" Branch & Lance "Un" Rivera, and features a sample of the classic 'Magnum P.I. Theme' by Mike Post. The video sees Cam & Ma$e running through the streets of Harlem, but the track only managed to reach #88 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and didn't manage to make the Billboard Hot 100. However, it's still a big track, from a great album.
CJ Beatz: "Cam & Ma$e running through Harlem from the Police over the 'Magnum P.I.' theme song LOL. Cam just straight shitted on the beat too. He also broke down how he could "make your brother eat your mother out after he done dug her out" ...what more could u ask for!?"
