Two of the standout tracks from Purity Ring's new album 'Shrines', which is due out July 24th. Quite possibly one of my favourite albums from 2012 so far - these two will go far.

Canadian 'future pop' duo Purity Ring took to twitter yesterday to announce the release of a new free download taken from their forthcoming album Shrines, due out July 24th. The song is called Obedear and is quite simply brilliant, combining dark synths with a heavy bass and enchanting vocal to create the sort of track you can put on repeat and listen to for hours.
