Rumours have been flying around the internet all day that Sankeys closed early last night, and now it has been confirmed that it was, after four clubbers were taken to hospital due to adverse effects from taking ecstacy tablets. Emergency services were called to the legendary Manchester club at 2:30am to deal with the youngsters - one woman discharged herself, but one woman (19) and two men (19 & 21) were kept overnight for observation. Their condition is not thought to be life-threatening, and police believe this was caused due to them mixing ecstacy and alcohol. Wishing them a quick recovery, and remember, be careful out there.
