Sampha - If Only A Friend Would Know (Live on FBi Radio)

Spotted over @Soundhall, here is a live performance of a brand new track from singer/songwriter Sampha, which was premiered last night on UK label Young Turks' takeover show on FBi Radio. Most people will recognise this guy from his work with the Electronic producer SBTRKT, but 2012 is the year that Sampha is set to make his mark as a solo artist. Can't wait for his debut album.

Miike Snow to play London & Manchester in May

Swedish band Miike Snow have today announced their largest UK shows to date in London & Manchester. With their sophmore album 'Happy To You' set to be released on Monday 19th March, they will be playing Manchester's Ritz on Wednesday 30th May and London's O2 Brixton Academy on Thursday 31st May. Our very own Adele did us all proud last night by taking home an incredible 6 Grammys, and performing a big performance of her hit single 'Rolling In The Deep', which was her first time on stage since the throat surgery operation. Radio 1 - Hackney Marshes Big Weekend 2012 (Emeli Sandé, Ed Sheeran, Michael Kiwanuka & more)

Hackney Marshes in London has been the venue confirmed to host this years Radio 1 Big Weekend event, on Saturday 23-24th June, with a line-up that includes Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Michael Kiwanuka, Dappy, Plan B, Jessie J, Labrinth, Florence, Lana Del Rey, Tinie Tempah, Rizzle Kicks and more. The event's director, Jason Carter, explains: "This is a concert in the heart of East London and we will use it as an opportunity to shine a light on and celebrate the young people of east London too". Registration for Hackneys Radio 1 weekend is now available, and will be open for six weeks - 100,000 tickets will be up for grabs, but you can bet your bottom dollar that they'll be gone in a flash.
