Jack Beats reveal tracklist for 'Careless'

On September 10th, production duo Jack Beats are set to release 'Careless', which will be the first in a series of mini-albums. 'Careless' will feature the Leonard Cohen-sampling single 'End Of Love', alongside collaborations with Diplo & Example, Dillon Francis and MNEK. As Niall & Ben explain "we've been working on our album for a long time, and we've written a lot of diverse tracks which we feel work better split up over 2 mini-albums. It feels a more contemporary and exciting approach to releasing Dance music than the traditional album format". Having been a huge Jack Beats fan for years now and with the names they have collaborated with on this, I'm sure 'Careless' is going to be a pretty special release. After the jump you can see the full tracklist, along with the dates for their forthcoming tour.

The Warehouse Project 2012 Update

The Warehouse Project is currently gearing up for its seventh season in Manchester, and today sees the event organisers announce that there will be a slightly different format to previous years. Although they will still be launching at the end of September and closing on New Year's Day, there will be much fewer events than before - some big, some small, some that start during the day - one thing is guaranteed though, each will be different from the last, and all will be amazing.

Bobby Womack to embark on World Tour

After recently being given the all clear from prostate and colon cancer, Bobby Womack has announced that he plans on doing a world tour in the near future to promoted his first album in 18 years 'Bravest Man In The Universe'. During an interview with BBC Radio 4's Front Row programme he revaled that he has had pneumonia twice and suffered collapsed lungs, but was "feeling better, even though there is still a long way to go". He continued; "They keep telling me one step at a time, one day at a time - but I am planning on going around the world and letting these people know what soul singing really was about". I saw Bobby play last year after he had been cleared of cancer for the first time, and he wasn't in a good way, so hopefully this time around he'll make sure he's fully recovered before embarking on a world tour. 'Bravest Man In The Univers' is out now, get your copy HERE.

Bickley's Brain Bonanza‏ (July 13th, 2012)

A bit different to my usual posts, but this is close to my heart. Last year at Bestival my friend Jodi Bickley was biten by a tic - 3 weeks later she suffered a brain infection, which led to her having her stroke - it took her 5 months to learn to walk and write again, but her head continues to get worse. She is currently on 19 (yes, 19) tablets a day, but it's not enough, so her friends have gone ahead to contact one of the top neurologists in the country so that Jodi can be seen privately. However, to do this we need to raise some money, and to get the ball rolling, there will be a fundraiser taking place next month in Birmingham.
