One Direction achieve US chart history after debuting at Number 1

British boy band One Direction have this week made US chart history by becoming the first British act to go in at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with their debut album - a feet that The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen and even the record-breaking Adele couldn't achieve. The album only reached Number 1 in the UK chart, but this week shifted 176,000 copies in the US, and knocked Bruce Springsteen's 'Wrecking Ball' off the top spot.

Whilst performing at Ill Industry earlier this week, Irish singer/songwriter Kal Lavelle premiered a brand new track, which features her good friend and London-born MC Mic Righteous. A very deep and personal song, with wonderful lyrics. Lots of love for this.

Olly B - You'll Find Love

'You'll Find Love' is my favourite track from young rapper Olly B's forthcoming EP 'Mirrors', which is set to be released on March 25th and is produced entirely by Ollie Green. At the tender age of 16 he is by no means the finished article, but with his thought-provoking lyrics, unique vocal tone (rapping & singing) and under the management of triple platinum producer Jake Gosling, the only way is up for the Birmingham-born starlet. There are moments in this track where he reminds me of Maverick Sabre, and that can only be a good thing. Follow Olly on Twitter HERE.

March 26th will see the release of Lionel Richie's highly anticipated duets album 'Tuskegee'. The album is in honour of the city in Alabama where Richie grew and where his first musical influences came from, which includes Gospel, R&B, and Country. This record explores these influences in new takes on 13 of his most loved singles, inviting some of his favourite artists along to share the journey. Richie is joined by legendary artists such as Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson as well as his pick of today's contemporary scene.
